Diamond point low buffet C.1775

Reproduction of Quebec diamond point low buffet, circa 1775, having mortise and tenon construction with square wooden pegs and hand-cut dovetailed drawers. Painted, hand planed and distressed finish. This particular piece is similar without being identical to illustration number 207 in the book titled “Canadian Country Furniture 1675-1950” by Michael S. Bird.

Two-piece Cupboard C.1850

Reproduction of two-piece back-to-the-wall cupboard circa 1850. Through mortise and tenon construction with square wooden pegs and hand-cut dovetailed drawers at both front and back. Doors have period cast iron latches and back boards are retained with square cut nails. Aged dark blue finish over dark green.
