Reproduction of Quebec armoire C. 1820, with vinegar paint simulating burl veneer and tiger maple. Post and panel, mortise and tenon construction with square wooden pegs. Pick and barrel hinges and cornice retained by forged nails.

Glazed Cupboard C.1860

Small cupboard having nine glass panes and a fancy painted finish done with a graining comb. Mortise and tenon assembly, drawer joined with hand cut dovetails at both front and back. Back boards held with square cut nails, period turn latches in oxidized brass.

Reproduction of two piece glazed back-to-the-wall cupboard, circa 1840. Mortise and tenon construction, drawers with hand-cut dovetails at back and front, back boards retained with square cut nails. Twelve separate glass panes held by metal points and linseed oil putty. Light green aged and crackled finish over red base coat.

Reproduction of circa 1775 Quebec diamond point armoire. Mortise and tenon, post and panel construction with square wooden pegs and distressed finish. This particular piece is similar without being identical to illustration on page 40 of the book titled: “The Painted Furniture of French Canada 1700-1840 ” by John Fleming.

Corner Cupboard C.1835

Reproduction of Adam style corner cupboard circa 1835, with simulated burl and tiger maple finish. Doors have cast iron hinges and a total of 20 individual glass panes retained with metal glazing points and linseed oil putty. Back boards are retained by square cut nails. This particular piece of furniture is inspired by illustration number 302 from the book titled “Canadian Country Furniture 1675-1950” by Michael S. Bird.
